In May 2025, our doctoral students gathered for their annual retreat. Their destination: The Humboldt Haus Achberg near Lake Constance.
As a doctoral researcher of project A03 of the SFB-TRR 161, I am researching “Quantification of Visual Explainability.” During my research stay from February to May 2023, I joined the Visualization and Graphics (VIG) group at the Utrecht University.
In early 2023, PhD student Yao Wang visited Aalto University in Finland. On our blog he reports on his research stay.
From June 30 to July 1, 2022, the SFB-TRR 161 doctoral retreat took place at Lake Constance. It was an excellent opportunity to bring together the PhD students from Konstanz and Stuttgart.
Doctoral researcher Christoph Schulz spent three months at the ETH Zurich working on order-statistical measurements for graphs and networks to assess representativeness.
